Instructor Opportunities

Alive - instructors

“I don't believe people are looking for the meaning of life as much as
they are looking for the experience of being ALIVE.”

Joseph Campbell

ALIVE Outdoors runs programs year round. We are always looking for subcontractors that are highly experienced educators who are driven by a sense of contribution and service.

We feel we offer a deep and meaningful form of outdoor ed. experiences for people of all ages—mostly grade 3-12 students. We truly feel that our programs empower young people to reach for their potential. We focus on helping students of all ages recognize and tap into their personal strengths, and aim to inspire them to share their gifts with their communities. Our ultimate goal is to empower every student that we work with, and have them return to their school with enriching, life-long memories.

Our programs are all about 2 things: People and Relationships. To achieve the calibre of programs that ALIVE is committed to delivering, we rely on highly experienced instructors and facilitators that believe in the importance of these experiences as much as we do. This requires high levels of experience and training.

At ALIVE we truly value instructors who are individuals with strong character. Most ALIVE Instructors are mid-twenties to early thirties and many are certified teachers & veteran wilderness guides.
