The Mabin School – Gr. 5 & 6 – ALIVE Outdoors – Spring 2026

The Grade 5 & 6 students and faculty from The Mabin School brought the sun with them as they stepped off the bus. Exuding excitement and curiosity, the students set out for their week to soar high on the high ropes course, aim for a bullseye at archery and learn how to build a fire. Breaks from our busy days included chilly dips in the lake and time to slow down and connect with the surrounding nature. After sharpening their skills in camp, the group split by grade for a day on the water. The Grade 6s set out for a canoe day trip with a cook-out lunch, while the Grade 5s loaded up in the voyageur canoe to go for a hike and complete a workshop on the shores of Joe Lake. A special, fun-filled and determined energy flows through all these individuals and was on full display during this program. Thank you to The Mabin School’s Grade 5 & 6 teams for making this week amazing. Have a great remainder of your school year!
