Five years ago the idea of an Upper Elementary winter trip was born, and it finally happened! The grade 4-6 students got off the bus, pulled on their winter gear and headed out for a walk across the lake to the ice wall. It was an excellent way to kick off the afternoon after a long bus ride from London. Broomball, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, crafts, and snowshoeing filled our days. We talked about the important ingredients of a successful community, and danced and sang up a storm! It was an incredible inaugural trip together under the beautiful stars, and we cannot wait to share more time together in the coming years.
